This bean was harvested in the high mountains of Colombia 5,840 feet above sea level. That is the equivalent to 4 Empire State buildings. Here, the bean was hand picked only at their fully developed stage by our experienced Cafeteros. It was then spring water washed and sundried to perfection.
All of our coffees are professionally cupped in order to determine the beans best cup quality. By doing this we can select the best roasting method for this coffee bean.
A medium roast was chosen for this bean to maintain a higher level of caffeine while revealing all of its delicious flavors and characteristics when delicately brewing your coffee.

Long time fan
I am not a coffee aficionado, so I am picky about what I find palatable. This coffee is not only palatable to me, but when I serve it to friends and family, it always gets compliments. I like that I can get it in a French press grind, so I don’t have to grind it myself. I have been buying it for years at the farm market, but when an injury prevented me from going out to shop for several weeks, I was so happy to find I could buy it online.

Cano Coffee Rush Hour
I have been hooked on Cano Coffee Rush Hour coffee since I first tried it. It is my go to coffee. Love supporting them when they are at the farmers market, and the service and delivery are just as good by mail order. I feel good about supporting a small local business. Try it!

Best pour over
This is SO GOOD as a pour over for the coffee enthusiast or as a regular coffee. You can order any grind for that machine you want to use it with. When I visited Colombia for the first time that’s when I really started to enjoy a black cup of coffee to a “tinto” (black short coffee). This coffee tastes like the real deal.

Bold, low acid, and good shelf life
I used to live in New York where I was able to get this fresh at Morningside Park every Saturday. Now I have to get it shipped, so I buy at least two bags. The second bag is just as bold and fresh as the first. Nice chocolatey flavor that tastes great black. The roast has low acid too, so no acid reflux after. I looked around for a while to find a coffee that could taste good without milk because I was going dairy-free. This bean was the clear winner of that search.
